Anyone have Trex? I have a deck with PT wood but it's old and out of code and want to replace it with a patio or Trex decking. Thoughts?

I'm very partial to stone patios and patios in general over decks.

I only like decking on elevated areas, if it's ground level, then stone

The deck is only elevated by 3 steps. The piers are pretty short. If I did the stone patio, I would have to get stairs up to the sliders.

Good to know about the other Trex info :hat: leaning toward a patio

    You'll regret putting in Trex.

That company has settled two class action lawsuits, and the problems with their product were never corrected. The product suffers from sun fade, then it blisters, the blisters pop, and chunks start to flake off.

    Don't do it.
