So, Dylan has a long list of his Bootleg series, where he releases various previously unreleased/alternate/live tracks. They range in quality from inspring, to obvious cash grab.

The one he just released, "More Blood, More Tracks," is one of the better ones Ive heard. A bunch of takes from a handful of sessions from his Blood on The Tracks recording. Really good.

You cant find Dylan on Youtube, but you can get a sampler of it on the streaming services...enjoy

I’ve been waiting for this one for months, because Blood on the Tracks is one of the best albums of all time. I’m even considering buying the deluxe set instead of just the 2 CD version.

I’m trying to get the new White Album. iTunes is slightly better than mp3s so screw that. Why have lossy for an album that touts it’s incredible fidelity? My car doesn’t even have a CD player in it. Best Buy doesn’t sell CDs anymore anyway. It used to be so much easier to buy your music.

He's playing in my area tomorrow. Too expensive for me and sold out on the immediate market.

The BF has seen him three times. Only once he had a good set. I won't pony up that kind of money to roll the dice. I adore him though....both Dylan and the BF. :)

The latest Bootleg Series is yet another jewel in the crown of the greatest of all time.

Bob Dylan and Neil Young both are artists I should probably like but for some reason I don’t.

I’m not denying their talent but on the other hand I just don’t really get it.

Dylan’s voice annoys me. When I go to a concert or listen to music I want to be entertained and he doesn’t entertain me.

Obviously millions disagree but I just don’t get it.

Yet more proof Dylan blows. Performing how many years and has one of three good sets.

Neil Young is great. Dylan is a hack.

During college I tried real hard to get into the "best" music, I picked up some albums that I wouldn't have otherwise but I also realized you can't overrule personal tastes. Dylan's vocals also annoy me to hell, and his lyrics never had much of an effect on me. I get Neil Young's lyrics more but he's truthfully an awful guitar player. I do prefer covers of their songs.

But who cares what I think? I actually dig listening to The Chipmunks on 16 Speed. :funny:

He’s overstayed, maybe. His age and health keep him from playing consistently anymore.

The last time i saw him was in 2013, and he was pretty rough.

Bummer, because still like some of his newer stuff. Love and Theft, Modern Times, and Tempest were all well written albums. Time out of Mind was a masterpiece.

He can still write a song with the best of them.

Yeah, he's only the most important American songwriter of the past 60 years.

He's been touring the eastern US for awhile now. His schedule has slowed down only slightly. Check his website, he goes all over the world and tours the US every year.

I just saw him in Clearwater. It was wonderful. No cellphones allowed, theatre type set up where you can only leave or come back in between songs. His band has been with him for so long and the sets don't change too much, so they're very fucking tight and crafted around Dylan's vocals.

You either love it or hate it. I love it. He's one of the few that hasn't tried to be what he once was. He's a gravely, cantankerous road warrior and he sounds like it.

I’m batting about .500 with him. I’ve seen him six times from 2001 to now, and three have been very good....three have been verynot.

You’re right, though. As of a couple years ago, he was playing 100 or so gigs a year. No rest for the wicked.

I don’t mind when he sounds like a grizzled cowboy, but it’s hard to listen to when he sounds really lethargic and disinterested.

Regardless, I stand By what i said about his recent studio work. His songwriting is still on point
