What went down with howard and bob levy ? How'd it not end well ?
Bob didn't want Howard eating Blue Cheese outta his ass and he took offense.
Bob is a fucking wacko. Got pissed that they were sick of his long ass plugs. He made some threats and was banned from the building.
Am I the only one who misses him? Everybody around here seems to trash him, I thought he was pretty fucking funny and I liked his delivery. Also, he has a really original, interesting voice.
Not saying I'd suck his cock or anything though.
I liked Levy.
But not Miserable Men.
Like most people who think they are owed everything......he just defected and now bashes stern whenever he can.
Which is......huh? ..is Bob Levy still alive??
I think 5 replies says it all.
I was just listening to this on Youtube last night. He actually went on an angry and long winded rant about not getting the five minutes on air he felt he was owed. Howard didn't take that very well and cancelled all his plugs and Miserable Men show. Artie tried to stick up for him, but to no avail. Hold on, I'll check my history and post it.
His teeth are yell like pee.
I thought he was alright with the roasts and the Killers of Comedy tours. But without the Stern Show to do those roasts and promote the tours, well que sera.
I can fix that, Bob. Call me!
pretty sure what really happened behind the scenes was that bob just couldn't let the whole Chappelle thing go even years after it happened and that's what got him in the end
I've actually talked to Bob numerous times and he's always been a really good guy. I know he's taking medication for bipolar disorder now, so maybe that has something to do with this rant.
He'd be great in the Jackie chair if this wasn't Turk-era Stern.
What chapelle thing ?
Long story short - king Howard thought helping bob put food on his plate and his kids mouth was too much.
There is a thread on here somewhere where bob had someone write up his version of events.
Bob swore that the joke that appeared on Chappelle Show, something to the tune of "I'm gonna beat my dick like it owes me money" was his intellectual property and a joke he originally coined
as Artie said, that joke probably appeared at the friars club centuries ago but Bob really thought it was his
I have no idea, but I'm making strimp and rotisserarry chicken for dinner.
