But will this give him more time to bitch about politics? If so, then hopefully his hand recovers.

U2... Meh, never understood their popularity and "mega" star status. Nothing against them really, just not my cup of tea...

Now he can devote himself full time to bashing America and demanding more socialist programs, while abandoning the country of his birth to avoid paying their income tax.

U2 is pure shit. They have guys offstage reminding them of what to play on songs they've been playing for decades. Click tracks, drum machines, hidden people offstage playing guitars and keyboards.

Here's Edge's in-ear monitor. "Ok, Edge, guitar solo, 1-2-3-4". Ridiculous.

This is the secret member of U2 since 2001.

He never played before. He hangs a guitar around his neck, turns away from the audience and picks a few strings during songs, to look cool.

A sequencer loop runs through the entirety of Bad going back to Live Aid in 1985. Nothing new for them. But I actually think this is pretty common place for bands to have backing tracks or extra musicians.

Yeah, Billy Joel has a guy singing with him, I think it's a tribute band guy. Ozzy had a singer backstage covering for him in the 90's. Don't know if he still does. The Stones, if they all stopped playing except for Charlie, would still sound about the same due to background singers and extra musicians covering for those old burnouts. Motley Crue is a joke. I think they play along to a track. Youtube is filled with videos of them losing their spot in the song and a background vocal popping up in the wrong part of the song. I'm gonna have to find one now because those trainwrecks are hilarious.
