i hate when howie says those werds
expeshally da way he pronowns da werds all flemmy like......no need to overdue it,we all know ur j00ish...
That's how it's properly pronounced. Too bad. What other languages/accents/cultures do you hate to see expressed? Southern, hispanic, black, Irish, what?
I love his fake, high-pitch, short laugh that he does over and over whenever his staff fights for the 100th time every show
Angelina Joe-laaaay, ffffffffffuck and this week Tupac Shak-ear all irritate me
100% agree! Whenever Howard attempts to imitate other dialects (& i'm primarily referring to his Southern), it's to affect stupidity. I have no problem with his Yiddish.
those aphrikins that make clikky sounds.....ooooo....so annoying.....just lern ta tawk....
it was ackshully more his over use of those werds that annoyed me.....
mix it up howard....ass,rump,bedonkedonk.....
it's embarrassing (to me)when he uses yiddish words.
(ok howard, we know you're jewish)....it's not fun, it's not funny, and it's not cute.
he never used to do it, i can't figure out why he does it now.
He's half Italian!
That's not true. He's been using Yiddish words and saying "that's in Italian, Robin" for decades.
Shak-ear was pretty muscular. Think he was on steeeeeroids?
You got something against Italians?
"vapid"...he got stuck on thta word too....
no...i like all black people.....
to me, yiddish always symbolized jewish resistance to assimilate rather than adopt the native language of whichever country they lived in at the time.
i guess i aspired to being a wasp (but so did my parents).
and before anyone calls me anti-semitic....i am a jewess.
and i can't stand anyone who doesn't learn to speak proper english...whether they be black, hispanic, chinese, german, yiddish...anything!
All of them...I'm ethnocentric!
And before you freak, I'm just kidding.
grammar nazi here - a person can't be yiddish.
it is a dialect of German
and Howard overdoes it with the Yiddish to fit in with the machers in Hollywood, IMO
When Howard started the Khaleesi bit, he said he also calls Beth other names - and he said some Yiddish word that sounded like Svedadell. I can't find that word anywhere - but it's probably a good thing because its meaning would probably make me sick.
