    |The third year of open enrollment for Obamacare began this week and premiums are up, too; far up for some. Julianna Goldman reports.

Well.....the gubment done went and hoodwinked everyone.
    1- Promise you the world
    2- get it passed
3- now every "taxpayer = 50% of the u.s." is registered for the program whether you like it or not.
4- the first year is a dream until they figure out the program cant pay for itself
5- Here come the insane premiums and bigger tax penalties for not enrolling
    6- the country mourns. :(

My only fix for this debacle is to hook up with a better half with real medical coverage.
I am lucky enough to have done just that.... 300 bucks a month for 1,000 deductable top shelf medical and dental coverage.

535 members of Congress ... and every single one of them opted out of Obamacare. The people who put the system together want no part of it for themselves.

    Heeere's your sign.

We have to pass the bill before we know what's in it.

Hope and Change and Forward with Hillary.

And we have a do nothing Republican congress that goes along to get along. Looks like Ryan is just a younger Boehner who doesn't cry as often.

This thing was always a scam. Obama didn't care what was in it, because he really wanted single payer. And it didn't matter what was in the legislation - just that would be passed under Obama's term.

All he cares about is his legacy - he figures the Congress can hash out the problems - but it will always be known as Obamacare. And he'll be known as the President who got Healthcare passed. Which is true.

The only way the Republicans can prevent that will be to get it stricken down completely.

So - we have a game of chicken - the Dems are saying, "Come on - lets work together and "fix" it" and the Reps are saying, "We don't want to put any kind of endorsement around this plan, because that will give Obama the win".

But unless the Reps can produce an alternative they are going to get stuck passing legislation to fix it.

An in the process, medical costs are still going up and uninsured are still going to emergency rooms.

Ryan may have to be the adult in the room and forge a compromise - maybe not.

If HRC becomes president - we'll probably have to go the full route to Canadian Healthcare. If it's a Republican in the WH - they'll have about 6 months to fix this before the Dems (and popular media) pin them to the wall.

Mine went up 25% last year, up another 17% this year. That's a ridiculous increase. I've never even used my insurance once in those 2 years. I guess I'm the sucker in this scheme.

They can't grab the money unless you get a refund. You could accumulate penalties for years but unless you get a refund the IRS has no way to collect it. They might change the law to make it an actual tax penalty. In that case if you didn't pay it would accumulate interest and more penalties.

It was set up to fail so the dems can blame the evil republicans for the failure and press for single Payor systems that'll further destroy our economy. Ain't nobody being cheap with other people's money

What I love is, as a doctor, i get paid less and less by insurance companies and my patients have to pay higher and higher premiums...makes me feel all warm inside that Mr. Obama is really helping the poor insurance companies...
