He turned himself in to the Leon County jail at 8:37pm Friday. By: WCTV Eyewitness News July 10, 2015 - 5pm TALLAHASSEE -- Florida State University football player Dalvin Cook has been suspended from the team indefinitely after allegations that he hit a woman outside a local bar. The FSU Athletics Department released the following statement: "Florida State Athletics announced today the indefinite suspension of sophomore Dalvin Cook from the football team following a misdemeanor battery charge. Athletics will have no further comment at this time.” 19-year-old FSU running back Dalvin Cook is charged with misdemeanor battery and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. The incident occurred outside Clydes and Costello's Cocktail Bar in Tallahassee. Cook is accused of striking a woman during an argument after the bar closed on the morning of Tuesday, June 23rd.
