Which show do you prefer.
tough one to call, but I'll have to with the Sopranos.
tough call though
Both great shows, but gotta go with the Sopranos. I think that The Shield ranked right up with both of them.
I've never an episode of either
also never seen an episode of any of these cable program dramas people are so very fond of
you can still vote
Couldn't stand vics wife, who was married to the shows creator. The bitch couldn't act for shit.
same with the nepotism daughter.
Your missing out son.
When I finished Breaking Bad, I declared it the winner. But as time goes by, I'm leaning towards The Sopranos. The reason is, I had the itch to watch the Sopranos series a 2nd time and when I did, I enjoyed it just as much as the 1st go round. I have yet to have an urge to watch Breaking Bad again. Real close but The Sopranos wins this race.
Breaking Bad. I can't remember many dead spots in Breaking Bad, but The Sopranos was riddled with them; 98% of the scenes with Meadow or AJ, most scenes with Carmella off doing her own thing, the Johnny Cakes gay horseshit, most of the last 2-3 seasons, etc. Then there's the lazy stuff/bad writing of the Russian who got away, Chris magically showing up with a new fiance, etc.
Breaking Bad was tight and tense as fuck, it maintained the tension, and went out with a bang. The Sopranos went out with a whimper.
me either. i pretty much only watch sports. i tried breaking bad and couldn't get into it, tried game of thrones couldn't get in to it. cant stand sitcoms like friends, big bang theory . stupid laugh track they play thru out sitcoms drive me nuts.
I vote for soap
now that was some good tv
Tough? Not in my book. Give me tony.
You know, I felt the same way aout the wife on Breaking Bad!
Hated that shaky camera shit on The Shield.
Very tough to call. But I have to go with Sopranos.
Sopranos. Have watched the series multiple times and it still holds up.
Breaking Bad was great but I can't watch it again.
BB clear winner, I was so excited for the sopranos when it started and I kept hoping it would get better so I stuck with it for like 5-6 episodes, I just couldn't get into it.
James Gandolfini really fucking sucked.
I'm surprised so many are going with the Sopranos. It was a great show, and it was certainly a Sunday event, but I remember being let down by slow episodes, poor writing, etc... That rarely happened with Breaking Bad.
I agree with a lot that sopranos has more to offer the second time around but I think that is because of the humor and gratuitous violence.
The final season of sopranos was so much worse than the first 5 that it tarnished it for me. Breaking bad has no Johnny cakes or AJ with a girl 10x out of his league bullshit moments. Breaking bad got better as the show went a long where as sopranos got worse steadily after season 3.
The finale of breaking bad is so air tight and incredible that Breaking Bad wins out.
