City that has repeatedly failed to support a football team gets two at once. what could go wrong?
this says they're staying in SD one more year
Wrong bro....they are staying in SD....it's all leverage for a new stadium. ..fuck it tho..most of us in SD are over it
More than likely playing the 2016 season in San Diego rather than at the L.A. Coliseum.
Spanos has until January 2017 to move his team to L.A.
Think he wants to try and make one last ditch effort for SD to help build him a stadium there.
That's what ESPN is reporting as well, staying for '16 and using the LA offer as leverage to swindle San Diego.
Last Ram game in LA had 20,000 fans attend. .
The new LA stadium is in a cluster fuck location... and a total shit hole....
Freeway and next to LAX ....
And oh yeah the Rams suck BALLS
At this point I don't want one penny of my taxes to go to that cock sucker
I actually like the stadium location in Inglewood.
All i would have to do is drive straight down Imperial Hwy and catch the 105 fwy west on a Sunday.
Not as close as Anaheim by any means. But still not a bad drive on a sunday morning or afternoon.
Weekday mornings or getting off work at 5pm weekdays is a whole different story.
I hope it works
Agreed. The NFL is a cash cow- I'm a Capitalist, so- ,, these fucking owners swindle cities and states by playing on emotional fan support. I appreciate that local businesses get a boost, but the NFL is like a Casino- the house never loses.
No one wants the Bolts in LA. NO ONE. This is all a ploy to either A) get a new SD stadium -unlikely b) Move them to LA and SELL them for double in 2-3 years.
Spanos is a JAGOFF
Come on down RAIDERS!!
I laughed when people/media mention Raiders would pounce on the chance to land in San Diego
if the Chargers leave. No one hates the raider nation in the NFL than San Diego residents.
And who could blame them.
Raiders in Vegas is a complete joke. All the trouble those people cause in Cali is bad enough.
But doing in in Vegas would just open up the NFL to a host of lawsuits and legal trouble
that would make Goodell's head spin.
Al Davis wanted out of LA and to go back to Oakland and he got it.
He even got the stadium expanded shortly thereafter.
But now his son is seeing all these state of the art venues and he's fucking jealous.
Now he is stuck with nowhere to go and one of the biggest shit holes in all of the NFL.
Saw a report this morning that developers in Vegas are interested in building a stadium to lure the Raiders, of course the NFL wants no part of that town as long as they pretend gambling is not a huge factor in the league's appeal.
I got a bad feeling about this.
