.....is not dead!
Don't tell Robin.
A few weeks ago Robin did a story about Adolf Eichmann's recent death in South America. She read several paragraphs before Howard finally said, "Didn't he die a long time ago?". There was an uncomfortable silence while Blobbin went back and reread the story and realized it was a DEPUTY of Eichmann who died. You'd think all the embarrassing mistakes she makes might inspire the "newswoman" to actually read the stories ahead of time and verify the accuracy but apparently that's too much work for her.
That old fuck is still going.
how he can avoid melanoma, amazes me!
Boy she sure spends a lot of time researching her news segments, doesn't she?
Blobbin is a news READER not someone who reports, analyzes or makes the news. Does she even write her own copy, or is that for one of her interns?
That's what makes it so bad, she can't even READ the stories correctly. They mentioned a few years back that someone (usually an intern) prints out a list of trending news items from the internet, Robin circles the ones she wants to report on, then someone prints the stories and gives them to her. Apparently she doesn't bother to read them until she actually does the news on the air and it shows because she often gets the details confused.
But she knows the film biz like nobody else. Only Robin knows that Brad Pitt is NOT a movie star despite over $2.5 Billion in box office receipts. The beauty of that one was that even when confronted with his numbers, she refused to admit that she was wrong.
Isn't everything on THSS scripted? Wasn't that just another bit?
I know its an unpopular opinion on this site, but I truly love Robin- crazy and all. I think Robin is phoning in (literally, or otherwise) the show as a "Fuck You" to Howard at this point. I can't imagine she believes the "bullshit" ( i.e. AGT, celebrity ass-kissing, Beef, revisionist history, general insanity) Howard spews, but keeps her mouth shut for the payday. Same with Fred, and probably Gary, and most likely, the remaining Stern staffers too. Maybe not even consciously; when the "leader" of an organization becomes disinterested and aloof, the people around him do too.
Don't forget Harold Rahhhhmess.
In her defense, does anybody care?
Let's put it this way: If Robin was a CPA, you would be owing the federal government $5,9278,238, 292 in back taxes and penalties after a few years after using her impeccable talents to do your taxes.
Always liked his swagger. He appears to be a guy that enjoys life.
Save the suntanbedleathered skin, he looks good for an old man.
We don't need to add more factually incorrect things said on the show. I am still trying to get over that Howard is still constantly defending himself on the 9/11 stuff by saying Mort Zuckerman said the same thing he did even though Zuckerman never said anything remotely close.
I need a tan but it's sooooooo dam hot out
You give the crew too much credit for it being scripted. They aren't that talented
All she has ever done is (mis)read stories as she finds them, the only question is if she picks any of the articles herself or if the interns/flunkies do that.
I sure hope you're right.
I'm not sure how I feel about this information.
Wait, it doesn't really affect me personally so I don't care.
