I need to see some ratings failure to make my day.
Isn't the kitten bowl #24 at the Pho place on 52nd Street?
I looked in at it but never did see Beth. Was she on much?
it was fierce. thats all I can say
Did you not hear? It was the talk of hollywood. Only slightly beaten by the superbowl in ratings. All praise BO. Peasants rejoice.
saw dogs playung some sport, not cats
I watched a little of it. Beff had a couple quick prerecorded intros but she was not the host really. They had Mary Carrillo and some old guy doing all the play by play. And boomer esaison made an appearance
So TV super mega host Beth O wasn't really even on TV? And not even live? Fuck...these ass holes sign her dumb ass up just to get promo out of Hamptons Howie and he doesn't even give a shit. I wonder how much the wool costs that has been cast so thickly over his eyes. He's pathetic.
It was number one with post menopausal spinster women with at least 19 or more cats. It was a huge success.
The Puppy Bowl (yes, there was one of those too) beat the Kitten Bowl by roughly 10 to 1 in viewership.
The power of Stern in full effect.
^^^ This. My six year old watched all three hours. I have failed as a parent.
Anyway, Beef was more like a celebrity "guest" than a host. Her mush mouth and Quaker Oats equestrian outfit only graced the screen for a collective few minutes. The two professional announcers did most of the heavy lifting for that atrocity of a show.
i like puppies, i like dogs.
i like kittens, but i dont like cats
Bitch..Another program fail...good...
Beth hit it out of the park again, right Gar ?
That's right Jon. What they didn't take into account when they were looking at the ratings is that there were 8 people gathered around each TV set.
I watched it with my daughter. ENDLESS commercial breaks, to the point where I wondered what the legal limit is for ads per hour.
Beff appeared in brief bumpers. She looked and sounded stupid. The writing throughout was excruciating. Terrible puns, they obviously edited nothing. I felt bad for the professionals who produced that crap. Total shit.
The kittens were certainly cute.
Kitten bowl ? There was one
^^^ This. They clearly shot a million hours of tape and had a bunch of interns patch it together and write a moronic voice-over script full of terrible puns. Seriously, it was at a level that only someone between the ages of 3 and 13 could appreciate. My kid loved it.
I have cats. They can be very loving, interactive, enjoyable pets.
