Peace and love, peace and love!
Breaking? I thought he started this years ago??
Welcome to about 2005.
I hate when people echo "peace & love" because Stern only started using it in the shit-years of the show. I get a pavlovian rage.
Look at it as a good way to weed out the new fans and those still losing the war with reality.
Lol I haven't listened for years but I heard this ages before I quit
I've always envisioned Ringo sitting in huge pile of shit people sent him to sign and finally snapping before he made this.
Did Robin run with this story in the news today? This news is only breaking if you get your news updates from the Stern Show.
I remember a story from 'I'm Dying up Here', how in the mid-70s a drunk Ringo tried to heckle a young David Letterman at the Comedy Store, and Letterman eviscerated him. Would love to see a clip of that.
Video was from 2008. Either way Wgas Wgaf. He was the Ronnie Wood of his group.
Sure, but Howard didn't end every goddamn sentence or thought with it like he does now.
Case in point: Dr. Drew now uses it. He didn't start listening to Stern until the day he was booked. He never even used to listen when his bro Carolla used to sit-in.
Ringo's lucky anyone gives a shit about his no-talent ass. A metronome has more human rhythm.
What was that famous Lennon quote? A journalist asks him, "John, is Ringo the best drummer in the world?" Lennon pauses and then shrugs, "He's not even the best drummer in The Beatles."
That's OK, Paul won't sign them either.
Ringo was a great drummer, don't be stupid.
Yeah, I tend not to trust John's opinion after he abandoned Julian and left this:
Granted, time is a bitch...
@stuttering john melendez
You know what to do.
Yoko was heinous!!! John must have been well into his drug phase to think she was hot...
