Have no clue who that was or his band, but I've heard of Powerman 5000. Only because it's a god stupid name and I saw them open for Kiss in 1997 and they were awful. Some Korn/White Zombie kinda rip off shit. Just awful. They asked "You guys want an encore?" and the crowd's reply was unmistakably "No", so they just left the stage.

Rob Zombies little brother. I saw them at something back in the day, maybe Ozzfest. They kept name dropping PanterA, fucking awful music.

why were the teens so "angsty" in the 90s with their grunge and nu-metal? pre-9/11, cold war over, good economy, no major wars going on. it should've been a big party.

Wasn't he an ice head? Didn't like static-x but they were more Ministry than Powerman 5000. They got a bad rap.

I wanted the guy dead 15 years ago for making me suffer through their nu-metal cliche bullshit for Slayer, and the rest of the crowd wanted the same. I can't help but feel responsible.

Shit, that sucks for him, met him and he was a nice guy. Their music's extremely hit and miss...

Cannibal was an excellent album though...if you're into that sort of thing

The lead douche in Powerman 5000 is Rob Zombie's brother.. he's responsible for that abomination of a band ever getting anywhere, though he keeps quiet about it.
