    Private citizens should not have biscuit tins. If he bought his biscuits in a paper sack, this could have all been avoided.

    In our country, for damaging a biscuit tin, the police would have served a no knock warrant. Shot the family dog. Roughed everybody up. And then realized they were on the wrong block.
