<-------<< broke ass mountain
Its a great movie, probably the best movie Ang Lee will ever do. It almost made me cry.
I loved it, saw it in theater. Read the short story first. It was just on a couple nights ago.
The gayest moment of my life was getting choked up while watching Brokeback Mountain.
If they're so desperate, why don't they just fuck the sheep?
Just ended. Caught my wife crying
Solid 9 stars. I'd give it 10 if it had some tits in it.
It's a great love story
I don't know how I really feel about that movie.
First, I found the initial "hook-up" scene in the tent to be ridiculous. It was like a quickie rape.
The other scenes, particularly the side-of-the-house make-out scene, was hot as hell.
but, like many gay movies,
it has to end in violence and tragedy
I will, however, give mad props to Ang Lee, if only for one scene. When Heath Ledger's character goes to Jake Gyllenhaal's parents' home,
there's just "a look" that the mother gives where you know that she knows and you know that she knows what happened. No dialogue. No interaction. Just "a look." It was perfect.
Other than that, I wasn't overly impressed with it. A much better gay-themed movie I'd rather ask Americans to watch would be Shelter (director: Jonah Markowitz) and/or Latter Days (director: C. Jay Cox).
Those two are, IMO, two of the best films to come out of mainstream, gay media in the past 20 years.
Love means never having to say "don't cum in my ass."
