Good flick...Movie was 2 and a half hours long but it didn't feel like it. Great acting by Steve Carrel and Christian Bale stole the show. It's hard to tell what the movie is about from some of the previews on tv but it is about the 2008 housing bubble and financial crisis. It follows a few different investment fund managers that did the unthinkable and bet against the housing market and made a fortune in the process. It also exposes how all the big banks sold fradulent bonds and let greed spiral out of control. The movie definitely has a Wolf of Wall Street feel to it but not as raunchy but don't worry there are still boobs and a cameo from Margot Robbie. There are quite a few laughs during the film as well. I give it 4 out of 5 thumbs up or whatever.
