I dunno. I see cemeteries and can't help thinking that all that acreage can be put to better use. For me, land belongs to the living. Besides, once your family and friends kick it, no one will remember you or visit your grave. Just seems like a waste of space.

My mother in law is in a can on a shelf. It's awesome. It's like she's lurking here all the time watching me.

The can is in a velvet bag. I try to not even make eye contact with the bag. I can't wait until we finally dump it in the ocean.

Then again I don't understand why people would want an open casket funeral either.

I agree. No matter how good a job they do the dead person always looks bad. And dead.

I don't really care what they do with me after I'm dead. I would prefer cremation without any kind of casket and minimal other funeral expenses. Hell, if science needs to examine my cholesterol filled arteries, they can have me. I just can't stand the thought of the female med students giggling at my teeny weenie.

I lost one of my closest friends in December, some of his ashes were buried with his folks, I have the other half, my BF and I are taking some to Florida to scatter and the rest will go up to New Hampshire where we all spend some great times

I think cremation is the way to go, burial seems like alot of work for nothing.

Body being prepped for burial go to 5:05 first 5 mins snooze fest.
