So, I tested Sling for a week and got the other stuff. I'm an Amazon Prime member already so that may have lowered by cost somewhat.

    Old bill: Includes internet $266/month

    New bill: 48 mps internet-around 60.00 a month. Sling-40-50 a month: Total bill 110 a month or so.

One time fees: 4 HD antennas-about 30 bucks each
3 amazon Fire Sticks-40 bucks each.

Seems like it is working really well so far. No lag or streaming problems. Amazon has soe decent shows-I'm watching Bosch right now-I liked the books.

Smart initial move. The thing you need to think about is how much you really watch certain channels. Do you really need the extra channels on Sling? Are you really missing out if you choose the basic package, or are you just used to having those extra channels? I have Sling, Amazon Prime, Netflix, and an HD antenna and with that I have access to more content that I could watch in 100 lifetimes. The only issue I think I may have is sports, but my local sports channels that show the A's and Warriors is going to be on Sling in the near future. For football I'm going to between 10 and 12 of my team's games. I can catch the other six regular season and the road playoff games pretty easily by going over to a friend's place or hitting sports bar. Cable is for fags.
