I went there tonight for the free meal they were offering and I am incredibly impressed with how they showed their appreciation for those who served this great Country.

First of all, they allow you to choose any pizza they have on the menu free of cost. That is quite the deal. Then, as my date and I were finishing up our meal, the manager came to our table and took the time to shake my hand and thank me for serving. Just those two efforts alone would have made me feel super honored and grateful, but it went even further. The manager then said, "this meal alone doesn't show how appreciative we are of your service so here is a coupon for another free meal that you can use at a later date." I was pretty floored that they would do so much to respect Veterans.

Thank you Fort Lauderdale CPK, CPK as a whole and thank you especially to my fellow Veterans. You are all heroes in my book.

    :salute:

Actually no. I had my DD-214 in my pocket, but no one ever asked to see it.

Why you thinking about running to try and con a free meal? :jj:

Its one of those things that I wish I would have served to have....Okay when I see these deals going around for veterans the THOUGHT runs through my head I would never act on it.It does piss me off when a resturaunt will offer just a buy one get half off appetizers for vertarens its like fuck you for exploiting them you offer it every week.

That is why you wish you served. C'mon Mario. You wish you would have spent 4 years in the military possibly got to Iraq or Afganistan and you wonder about the free pizza you missed out on.

It was the 5 mushroom with walnut pesto, but I didn't taste any pesto. I also added chicken to it which they didn't charge extra for which I found commendable.
