Yes especially when people get older and have weathered skin, it look's ridiculous and unnatural.

If they're bluish I'd think veneers. Veneers are so brutal.

Dental bleaching, also known as tooth whitening, is a common procedure in general dentistry. According to the FDA, whitening restores natural tooth color and bleaching whitens beyond the natural color. There are many methods available, such as brushing, bleaching strips, bleaching pen, bleaching gel, and laser bleaching. Teeth whitening has become the most requested procedure in cosmetic dentistry today. More than 100 million Americans whiten their teeth one way or another; spending an estimated $15 billion in 2010.[SUP][1][/SUP]
Bleaching methods use carbamide peroxide which reacts with water to form hydrogen peroxide. Carbamide peroxide has about a third of the strength of hydrogen peroxide. This means that a 15% solution of carbamide peroxide is the rough equivalent of a 5% solution of hydrogen peroxide. The peroxide oxidizing agent penetrates the porosities in the rod-like crystal structure of enamel and breaks down stain deposits in the dentin. Power bleaching uses light to accelerate the process of bleaching in a dental office. Another bleaching agent is 6-phthalimido peroxy hexanoic acid (PAP).
Tooth bleaching is not a modern invention. Ancient Romans, for example, used urine and goat milk in an attempt to make and keep their teeth whiter.[SUP][2][/SUP]

The strongest teeth are natural, healthy ones and these teeth are not white. At least, not white like the colour of paper, or even the colour of piano keys. They are a couple of shades darker than that. The enamel itself is a blueish white colour, but it is also somewhat translucent so the yellow of the dentine beneath it shows through to make the overall colour of the teeth either light grey or light yellow.
If your teeth are darker than that, it may be due to heavy smoking or possibly certain rare metabolic disorders. This can be corrected by a combination of bleaching and polishing off the top layer of enamel, but both of these will permanently weaken the teeth.

Yes in appearance. I'm probably a little obsessed with teeth but whenever someone has veneers it's all I can see, I can barely hear what they're saying I'm so distracted by them.

LOL I know! I went to grad school with a guy, he was a little older, had played in the NFL for a few years, good looking, amazing body. I used to see him in the gym and he'd talk to me but I could not get past those fake teeth.
