I'm leaving Allstate. Was paying $120 a month.

Did a quote from the general aka progressive and it was $95.

Erie Insurance is great. Cheap and prompt. I've totaled 2 cars and have never had a problem.

State Farm, it's expensive but I've never had a single issue in 30 years.

Mercury Insurance for me. Funny enough, I did one of those online insurance comparisons today to see if I find something cheaper, but it came up with Mercury on top.

    90 a month for me @ geico.

Wife drove into a pole a few months ago. $4500 in damage. 500 deductible and they paid for a rental for 3 weeks.

Never had an issue with them.

Had Progressive. A motorcycle rear ended my wife's car , did a couple thousand in damage, but wasn't insured. Progressive took their dear sweet time getting him on a payment plan and we didn't get out deducitible back till they got it from him, which was odd. They also only gave us $500 for diminitution of value and their in-house shop left the car covered in polish and wax residue.

Ease of making changes online was a plus, but Nationwide was cheaper for us. $850/year for a high powered euro sport sedan. $800 for an F150, both with max coverages and 1,000 deductibles. Had a house claim from nationwide and they didn't give us any shit paying.

Was with Geico for 6 months and loved how they handled a big claim. Wish I could've stayed with them, but we bought a house and received a better combo deal elsewhere. I'd totally recommend Geico. I loved not having to deal with an agent. I could configure the details of my policy online and see exactly what I have and what each option costs. I hate dealing with agents. I didn't have to talk to anyone at Geico until we had a claim and then the dude involved was great. Always answered our questions and showed up in person to deal with the garage doing the work. If I'm ever switching insurance again at some point, I'm definitely looking back into them.

Just make sure to get/keep full tort. Limited tort is an insurance company scam. Sure, you save maybe $20 a month, but then God forbid you get hurt in an accident. Then you'll be sorry if you don't have full tort.
