can he beat Trump?
He'll beat Hillary but there's no way he'll beat Trump after the Reggie lives matter bit.
Sure why not
Sanders vs trump
Wouldn't be boring
That's for sure
Trump's not going the distance.
No way Trump gets the nom. Sanders, whether you like him or not, will at least talk about issues and not engage in schoolyard horseshit like Trump does.
Sanders would be a great choice, it doesn't matter who the Dems nominate, they will all crush that arrogant racist fool Trump.
Sanders or Biden gets the nomination for sure.
Only if she goes down because of the server scandal. I think she will survive it and beat the republican candidate, but we shall see.
Hillary is awful, go Bernie.
How so? He's up to 40% in some polls, when these other guys drop out, Walker, Cruz etc, those voters aren't going to Jeb.
Realistically, he may not need to swing too many people his way. If he continues to do well in the debates I see no reason why you'd say "no way he gets the nom".
If he signs the pledge the GOP wants him to sign, which i think he will, they're have to back him.
Whether he can win in the general election is another story, but I really think he'll be there. 40% is pretty significant even this early on, even moreso when you consider there are 17 candidates..
Trump's base is angry and will go to the polls and vote. Sanders's base isnt as passionate.
Can he beat his meat?
The witch hunt on Clinton will ruin Clinton, not that she's guilty of anything. Maybe Sanders would pick Warren. Bernie's awesome, but don't know if he'd finish two terms, if it came to that. That would be cool.
BTW, Bill's BJ investigation cost us 43 million. How much is this stupid fucking email fiasco gonna cost?
I just think he's surging way too high way too soon. He's saying all the stuff that a lot of yahoos like hearing right now. But as I mentioned in another thread, I think the novelty of that new car smell he brings at the moment will wear off and people will want to eventually hear specifics with regard to the issues. Not just "I'm going to do terrific things." Just my 2 cents.
Fair enough, but most don't go into specifics this early on, that comes later. I haven't hear a detailed economic, domestic or diplomatic plan from really anyone yet.
I just know month after month folks keep saying Trump won't last, and month after month he not only is still there, but is actually increasing his lead.
It's only been less than 3 months since he announced, so it easily still qualifies as still being within the flash in the pan status. Time will tell I guess.
Yeah backing down to those mouthy BBW's that snatched his microphone was beta as fuck. Not good.
BBW! Love it.
Bernie has zero chance of winning. What you are seeing now is Hillary at her worst and Bernie at his best and he is still losing.
Bernie is a trainwreck of a debater. Hillary is well seasoned and a couple of swift jabs to the body regarding Bernie's voting record on immigration and he will be down for the count. Hillary could easily go full attack on Bernie and destroy him if she wanted but she doesn't want to offend the hipster vote. She'll play it safe attacking Republicans and coast to the nomination.
Who in this field catches fire then? I like Carson, but that was one poll in Iowa, overall according to Realclearpolitics he's up by 15 over Carson and the GOP's dream candidate Bush trails by 17 to Trump and is now averaging in the single digits.
The last thing I'll say is if he were just a flash in the pan, he wouldn't have every network's panties in a bunch, especially Fox's. Bernie is a communist and challenging Hillary in the polls but nobody seems to think he'll last because there isn't major meltdowns going on whenever he speaks.
