And what does it have to so with Howie channels?
It's a production company, among other things, started by Lloyd Braun after his partner left. It's starting a direct to consumer platform for "artists" to enhance and supplement their existing content, shows and music
where is an example of their "productions"..
Oh, I thought it was another word for "butt rock" or something.
And maybe it is.
I'm assuming all of the old HTV Content and the newer cheaply recorded interviews since HTV left
this would be great... few interviews I would love to see
Whatever it is, Howard's component will be a huge disappointment - just like everything he does.
Basically an organized multi-channel multimedia portal for an entertainer and his/her exploits or programming
This might be the worst explanation i have ever seen of any thing ever. what is a 'direct to consumer platform'. The only thing i know about lloyd is that he likes chewing gum. Is youtube not a direct to consumer platform? Looks like stern is onto a winner. if he is going to ask individuals to pay him directly well he is fucked.
Whalerock Industries (formerlyBermanBraun) is a Santa Monica-based media and technology company. Whalerock’s digital brands include Wonderwall, Moviefone, Mandatory, mom.me, Tested, PawNation, Purple Clover, and Cinefix, among others.
The Santa Monica, CA based company was founded by principals Lloyd Braun and Gail Berman in 2007. In early 2012, the company acquired Whiskey Media, CNET FounderShelby Bonnie's media and technology company based in San Francisco, which has created a next generation publishing, data and social tools platform. In February 2014, Lloyd Braun took sole ownership of the company, and changed the name from BermanBraun to Whalerock Industries.
Yet another marble grab.
Whalerock represents a paradigm shift in the talent/fan relationship space. By utilizing millions of touchpoints, Whalerock enables talent to monetize their fan base by reaching out to admirers on multiple digital platforms.
In essence, Whalerock acts as a growth exploder, and as a means to more effectively leverage the success of the talent
A lot of buzzwords and buzzphrases that mean a Howard Stern website where all of his past and future content will exist.
Worldwide content : Youtube
Howard Stern content : Whalerock's Howard Stern Page
Lloyd Braun can do anything he puts his mind to.
**Preface** **I am in no way a fan of Glenn Beck. I just do tech shit for a living so I keep up with all this stuff.****
Glenn Beck is the model for WhaleRock, and his shit is already set up. If you want a Howard Stern preview, here it is:
A main portal home page: http://www.glennbeck.com/. (Has headlines, a system-wide search feature, and links to all social media content)
Radio: http://www.glennbeck.com/content/radio/. (Video and audio of the radio show)
TV: http://www.theblaze.com/tv/ (Replace "blaze" with "Howard". This is where Howard TV will live. Episodes. Documentaries. Embedded. News magazines. This is also where Riley, Black on Black, Bubba, etc. will presumably live with their own channels)
Books: http://www.glennbeck.com/agenda21/ (A place to advertise written media. Presumably, "They Call Me Baba Booey, Private Parts, Quivers: A life)
Charity: http://www.americandreamlabs.com/ (We all know what goes here. Presumably all the NSAL shit)
Clothing: http://www.1791.com/ (Johnny Boy Varvatos. As many gay scarves as money can buy)
Whalecock exploded in my face!
Will Marksfriggin reside on Whalecock?
