If so its free at the Big Texan @Bro
That challenge is nuts. No way
I'm 6' 165lbs but I'd give em a run for their money.
72 oz, plus baked potato,shrimp cocktail,salad & a bread roll? GTFO here.
I've seen that challenge on man v food and a few other shows. It's an impossible feat.
Damn! What's something like that even weigh?
Here on LI a chain called J&R's used to offer the 76er challenge, but they recently discontinued it because too many people were winning it. Yes, we are slobs here. How do I know this, b/c I recently decided to give it a go on a recent trip there and was told it was discontinued. If you didn't finish they charged like $55.00 but would let you take the leftovers home. I figured, why not. damn it.
The challenge they had on that show in Portland was at a restaurant by me. The challenge is weak as shit.
5 Habanero cheese fritters with all the sauce, no time limit. Easy doing.
back in the day just rocky point. it took over the old big barry. now its in at least calverton, rocky point, medford. they had one in patchogue, but they sold it to a german joint. Not sure if there was ever one in islip.
although islip has tellers, which is a legit steakhouse with prime cuts. i haven't been there but heard its great. its one of the few steak houses on this god forsaken island i haven't been to yet. called tellers because it took over an old fashion bank.
I bet it's fake meat.
Been there, but I had the 10 oz. sirloin.
Oh I thought there was one there. Haven't been out to Patchogue in years. Spent a few summers on Pine Neck road down from the boat basin.
