The old price used to be worth it.. now at $99 not so much... the prices on the prime shipping stuff seem to be higher and there isnt much of a video selection.. anyone else not planning on re-subscribing to them either?

Never had it.... Don't shop on Amazon enough to justify. Was it just 2 day shipping?

I love it and don't mind the fee. I probably save double that in shipping. And two days is so great.

You should be careful. When renewal comes around Amazon is as slimy as Howard.

My credit card on file expired before my prime membership renewed. I didn't feel like renewing, so I let the membership lapse without entering in new info.

I was shocked when I got an email from Amazon saying "thank you for renewing". Thinking that something was amiss, I nearly lost my shit when I read the actual body of the email, which essentially went something like: "we noticed that your card had expired, so we reviewed your order history and realized that you used a different credit card, so we charged that one". Only "that one" wasn't my credit card, it was my bosses company card, which i had used once at Amazon.

That was not fun to undo.

I got a lifetime sub to amazon prime out of it when I was done with them.

I use amazon probably once a year, I just sit on that site until I get everyone I know a christmas present of some sort. That way I can avoid the long lines around the holidays.

I actually just noticed that I got billed for it for the annual fee so I unsubbed... said it would be 2-3 days before I would get my refund.

i average one delivery a week. it's well worth it to me on that alone and there is a warehouse somewhere around here so i get a lot of stuff in 24 hours or so. the only store i shop at is the grocery store, everything else comes from fed ex etc.

Maybe I am odd but I can't think of the last time I went to the store/online to buy something for myself or my apartment.

We have the one hour delivery included where I live and I love it. (There's no delivery fee at all.)

We use it all of the time from printer cartridges to soda to pantry items.

it works for me because i order all the staple items i need every month that i would have to otherwise pay high city prices and then pay for delivery. Amazon's pricing is still less than the city stores and their delivery for me is better.

Still SO WORTH IT for us; We order from Amazon practically daily. If we don't like the item, we simply start the easy to use, (free), return service. We don't even have to print out or affix a return shipping label; UPS does that for us. I send back more than I keep. Best $99 I spend annually.

I think they will survive until the 55+ year olds die... I know my parents and other parents I know go to the big stores still and dont use the internet no matter how great the savings
