    Hi all,

I was an avid listener & subscriber back in '07-'09 (The Artie Years) and enjoyed listening regularly during that time. I cancelled my subscription shortly after then, but I decided to start a fresh internet radio subscription for $17/mo. to see what Howard was up to these days.

I was highly disappointed after listening to some of his recent shows, and he sounds like he really could care less about it these days. Most of the bits are unfunny and seem stale at this point. I can't believe how little live content there is on Howard 101 either. I called into Sirius to try and get a lower monthly rate, but they refused, so I decided to cancel my sub. It's sad to see how much he has let the show grow stale over the last 5 years or so.

Just wanted to hear if anyone else had any thoughts about this. I enjoyed reading the posts the short time I was here.

Their strategy worked on me. I got it for Howard. Once I saw and heard the content I thought it a much better alternative to the local classic rock FM station that's been playing the same 200 songs for the past 35 years. It's really not that expensive. I have it in the car and my phone. Haven't listened to Howard for more than 5 minutes at a time in 3 years.

9 out of 10 shows stink on ice these days, but occasionally there's that rare bit that cracks me up. Wednesday's show was pretty good during that whole "Special People's Court" segment, but I'm a sucker for any of the stupid shit HPE is up to. But yeah, not worth subscribing to. Not sure exactly what Marcy Turk's title is, but it seems like Stern wants to make sure there are people around to reign him in so he doesn't get himself in too much trouble since everyone seems to be hyper-sensitive these days.

I also subscribe to Tune In for $7.99/mo. Much better music content than Sirius IMO.

I listened to that as well. HPE is highly entertaining but hearing about Wendy shitting in her pants wasn't doing it for me.

    Well said.

They won't deal on internet subscriptions. I drove that issue way up the ladder recently.

Have you all provided Sirius feedback on how terrible THSS is these days? I think they would appreciate it and who knows, maybe someone will kick Howard in the ass to produce some quality programming again.

I certainly did, but it didn't sound like the customer service rep. I spoke with ever listened to the show. I told them the $17/mo. wasn't worth the lack of content he had on his channels. Sirius XM has too much other (cheaper) competition for their other content to justify the price.
