    Pretty good...not great.

Sorry @ARM watched it again last night and it's going in my hall of the pretty good.
Too many plot issues, mediocre villains and fucking cracking voice Spiderman.

Revising my rating to a solid 3 out of 5.

Standing by my last evaluation, but a rewatch didn't help it at all.

Going to see it this afternoon, did you happen to see it in 3D? Wondering if worth it, just bothers me most of the time.

I can't watch movies in 3D because I'm a doddering old man. Saw it in Imax 2d.

is it possible for these super hero movies to be produced in under 2 hrs? They just have so much to say that they have to make 2-3 hr movies. Edit mother fucker edit!

Oh, it's also too fucking long for a movie that has a crap villain too. It's still fun, just not an Oscar nominee like my boy @ARM thinks.

he's cool in this movie too. I like that character. Liked it in the comic book as well.

They've done a good job telling his story. If you are a fan of the Civil War series from the comic books? This is loosely, and by loosely I mean loo-hoo-hoosley based on the comic.

It's still a good movie though, I should enjoy being a settler. I grew up with crappy tv and movies.

I totally agree. I saw it last week (in regular 2D) and I loved the fight scenes, but it felt long and I got sleepy in some places

I'll tell ya what - it's certainly better than anything I've seen in the last year, and I've seen a ton. I fell asleep during the Revenant 3x - and somehow that and Dicraprio's overrated mumbling and grunting get an Oscar. Chris Evans is WAAYY more engaging, believable and charismatic than he is.

I totally agree that Marvel needs to COMMIT to the FULLY realized super villain. Too many half-baked Baron Zemos, Mandarins, Crimson Dynamos, Batrocs, Crossbones, Leaders, Abomination etc.

Avengers 2 should have been VS the Masters of Evil - instead of just Ultron repeating the Loki beats, and Redford should have been Red Skull in Winter Soldier.

Even the Daredevil series - get fucking Bullseye in there already - it't an easy character to nail!!

You nailed it!! Taskmaster is PROBABLY my favorite super villain in Marvel - along with Dr. Doom. He's perfect for Civil War and a Cap film.

Who needs a mega villain? They were fighting each other. They were already juggling like 20 characters. What, you need a half-assed Doomsday tossed in at the end? I think they rely to heavy on shornhorning in a name villain sometimes. You gotta watch his origin, learn his motivation, blah, blah, blah. I'd watch a whole movie of just spiderman fighting street crime. Or the Hulk fighting the Army. The whole world should be the enemy of the Hulk. The Lizard, The Absorbing Man/Abomination - that's when things start getting silly. Save the arch enemy down the line.

I really liked both Ant-Man and Spider-Man in this. Glad to see the high-school aged Spidey. Andrew Garfield just came off too cool by half.

I liked it a lot. Made every Marvel movie up til now feel like they've been pulling their punches.

The last Batman movie didn't break the 1 billion dollar mark, although it did get close. Sales dropped drastically after the first week...

Fuck all comic book movies. You people have been dumbed down to the point where you'll watch any shit Hollywood produces.
