this is some sort of joke....right
No, this is a joke
What do you call a black guy with a PhD?
I think injured passengers too, but they'll also pay for their medical bills lol
seems way low for what they went through and the next to nothing help they got for the crew
id start at 100K per
well atleast it wasn't a picture of a cheeseburger
And that's uninjured and still sounds low
I THINK I read where they've already sent out the checks, and if people cash them it means they accept the offer.....not sure if that's true though
I'd set aside $500k as a damage fund and let the passengers and their lawyers have it out among themselves.
gonna look that up
you dont think they are gonna band together in a large class-action suit?
Look up how many passengers too.....$500K seems way low I think we're talking millions
Italian consumer group ADOC estimated that about 3,000 passengers would get about 14,000 euros each if they accept the offer, including expenses, according to an e-mailed statement. ADOC forecast 85 percent of passengers will accept the offer. That would bring the total cost to about 42 million euros. Carnival has liability cover of as much as $3 billion with the Standard Club, a mutual insurance association owned by ship owners, and the Steamship Mutual Underwriting Association Ltd., according to spokesmen for the two firms.
good lord man...i hope you get a kick in the face this weekend.
what do consumer groups have to do with this?
Yeah but $42M seems like a lot. Geez they could wade to shore.
I have nightmares every night. I'm traumatized beyond my ability to function normally. I can't hold a job. My marriage is a mess. I pee the bed, etc etc
What has four legs and says "HOE DEE DOH, HOE DEE DOH?"
Two black guys getting on an elevator!
$14K sounds good to me. I'd take it. You can sue for more but when the company goes bankrupt you are fucked.
