Yeah, but the same can be said about him too being lucky to be here. Try starting a fashion company in India and see if he becomes a millionaire.

Of course people in 3rd world countries have it worse than folks in the U.S. making $35K. I think the problem here, as in many other countries, is the increasing gap between the super wealthy and everyone else.

Dude was on Twitter yesterday claiming that he's the victim of a headline taken out of context + if everyone could see the unedited CNBC interview, they would understand what he was trying to say. https://twitter.com/BudKonheim

And where is all that Nicole Miller shit made? Fucking guy has a lot of guts talking about poverty in India and China while his company employs slave labor in third world countries to make that shit they're peddling at Saks.

Fuck him. It's all relative. Making $35000 in the USA isn't the same as making it in Ethiopia. Just like making $500,000 in Lincoln Nebraska isn't the same as in Manhattan NYC.

    This.

The average American family has about $8,000 in credit card debt. And let's not even talk about how many people have had to declare bankruptcy over hospital bills. And then there was all the predatory lending in the real estate market...

As long as Bud is comparing the wealth of Americans vs undeveloped countries, perhaps he should compare his compensation to what the average CEO makes worldwide and adjust his compensation down to that.

This moron should keep his mouth shut...I don't want this douchebag bitching about Obama, liberalism, "high taxes" or any regulation that prevents him from getting richer...If anything, this hypocrite needs a good smack in the mouth

Im not against being rich. I just have less respect for you if you outsource all those jobs and send them to hell hole nations where people make 2 dollars an hour.

That shit he said makes no sense. What does the poverty level in other countries matter when talking about Americas 1%? People living in the US making $35,000 a year are living in poverty. There's no debating that. Everything is relative. Just another narcissistic asshole trying to justify the shift of wealth in this country and the destruction of the middle class.
