    Ingredients

3 Haas avocados, halved, seeded and peeled
    1 lime, juiced
    1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
    1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
    1/2 teaspoon cayenne
    1/2 medium onion, diced
1/2 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
2 Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
    1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
    1 clove garlic, minced

    Directions

In a large bowl place the scooped avocado pulp and lime juice, toss to coat. Drain, and reserve the lime juice, after all of the avocados have been coated. Using a potato masher add the salt, cumin, and cayenne and mash. Then, fold in the onions, jalapeno, tomatoes, cilantro, and garlic. Add 1 tablespoon of the reserved lime juice. Let sit at room temperature for 1 hour and then serve.

I really wanted some guac today. Avocados are loaded with carbs. I ended up cooking some ground beef with a bunch of seasoning and having romaine lettuce taco wraps.

I love it now. Always have a bunch on hand. Take a few out (or ten) chop it up and put it on or in everything.

I tried to like it. I may need more time. I do however put dried coriander in my salads. True story. :grad:

So since I made this thread about guac here are some artsy photos of my guac that i made tonight.

guac is my go to late night snack. Even if I'm too lazy to make quac, I always have an avocado on hand to mash up and eat plain.

This is a pic of minced garlic, diced tomato, diced tomatillo , diced onion, diced jalepeno

BTW, it's good to had a sharp knife to dice and mice those vegetables.

Here is a pic of a scooped out avocado with squeezed lime juice, salt cumin, and cayenne pepper.

I'm just trying to make him feel good. I don't see the harm in that.
