I was listening to the Michael Savage show on AM radio - right after the SCOTUS came down in favor of Obamacare - with the big surprise being Chief Justice Roberts cockamamie support rationale.

Several people calling into the Savage show mentioned that the Left has been blackmailing Chief Justice Roberts - it was funny because caller after caller said things like, "I don't know if the Democrats have something on Justice Roberts, but..."

Obviously, many people have heard the rumor that someone has photos/evidence that Justice Roberts has a homosexual past (allegedly).

He vote against gay marriage to throw off the scent - but he already knew it would pass 5-4, so he could propagate a smoke screen.

It sounds preposterous, but what else can explain Roberts ridiculous logic in his opinion?

I heard that while on the road and I cringed. Stuff like that takes away some extremely valid points Micheal Weiner (and guest hosts) makes.

Based on all the conservative rulings Roberts has made Obama is the worst blackmailer ever.

Look how Obongo uses the FBI to do his bidding. It's not out of the realm of thinking. Means justifying the end and all...

...there have been other justices in the past who seem to vote opposite of party lines once seated on the court. i cant remember exactly who but either nixon or reagan appointed somebody who routinely voted outside of what was expected. maybe it has to do with once theyre appointed they take a new look at jurisprudence and what it means to have a seat on the court. :dontknow:

I don't mind him having his own opinion - but everything I've heard and read about his opinion concludes he went well outside the boundaries of the role of a Justice on the SCOTUS - as Scalia stated in his dissenting opinion. The SCOTUS has just become another legislative branch instead of enforcing the laws as written. He's done this twice with Obamacare. It's like he's got his own agenda and doesn't respect the boundaries of the constitutional limits of the Court.

No, Republicans and Democrats are on the same side. They say different things and pretend to hate each other, but then they govern the exact same way.

Look at what the Republicans have done since they won the Senate - the country has moved way left, and Obama has gotten more of his agenda through since they took power than when Dems had control.

The left set up a fake opposition to itself. That way, no matter which side wins, the country continues to move in the leftist direction our overlords want it to.

    :(
