Daddy's girl has been a bad girl.
Channel 9 show would come on channel 27 at like midnight in Mass ? I was too young to watch much of it but I do remember it being on 27. Its a Spanish channel now not sure what it was then, cant remember.
I feel he is tied with Gilbert as the best recurring "celebrity" guest. Different styles but would equally eagerly anticipate and appreciate their studio appearances.
That channel 9 show was the best. The Snapple commercials were killers. Howard did help Snapple get on the map for sure.
I still can't find the final phone in from Richard in 1992 when Howard asked him about the spanking article in the Enquirer that led to Richard not coming back on the show until 2006.
I don't think they held up very well. Never caught them when they originally aired but I've watched most of them recently and they're pretty hard to sit through. Reinforces the idea that Stern was only ever good at radio. I can only imagine network TV execs watching that amateurish production and performance and cringing. No way was he ever going to land a gig as a late night talk show host.
HOWARD THAT IS SACRED!!!!!!!!!!!
Nothing he did back in the day holds up well. It's amazing he ever became a star
'92 and on I think he found his stride, maybe earlier but I haven't heard much from those days. I've been listening to shows from '95 lately, so goddamn good.
I was talking more about his mid 80's stuff. Just awful
It was a different time
Any one remember the gay comics on stern show. Gay jaffi I believe
Gilbert was on doing Dice and gay jaffi was a guest
Guy was the King. Everyone was up at 6 am to listen. To bad he got famous.
About 15 minutes in the gay comic comes in.
oof... that one was so hard to watch, but Gilbert was fucking hilarious
