    Not cause he knocked her around, but because it was not funny, and the chick wasn't hot.

    You would think people would be complaining about the cheesy production value of the shoot. Looks like they paid some film students 20 bucks and a case of beer for that gem. :doh:

    it's a remarkably stupid commercial. joke all you want, beating the shit out of women is frowned on in many circles. considering the other things going on, :facepalm:

    hearing that all the bigwigs thought is was funny was funny. they will be apologizing their dumb asses off for awhile.

    It was supposed to spoof this United Healthcare commercial.

    The Cleveland Cavaliers have issued an apology after airing a playoff video that showed a woman being thrown to the ground by her boyfriend because she wore a shirt for an opposing team.

    The video was shown during Wednesday night's game, and while it was removed from Vimeoafter viewers expressed outrage, basketball writer Steve McPherson posted a copy of it. In the skit, a Cavs fan catches his girlfriend in a Dirty Dancing move, but throws her down when he realizes she's wearing a Chicago Bulls shirt. She writhes in pain on the ground and is later shown in a Cavs shirt, while holding ice to her head, promising that she is now "all in" as a Cavs fan.

    I agree people need to lighten the fuck up.

    I don't like this commercial only because it isn't funny (same for the healthcare ad it spoofs). Too much build up for a payoff we're already expecting -- something goes horribly wrong with the lift.
