Instead they are airing Indians vs. Tigers game.

They would rather air a crappy third place team than WIGGY's show , they must be haters, jealous, O & A fans...etc...spin spin spin

Cleveland Vs. Detroit, honestly don't blame them. It's like a UNC Vs. Duke match up down here regardless of where that stand in the league.

I get pissed when Cops is always preempted in the summer by baseball but I doubt they'll even get a call about AGT.

Something doesn't sound right. An affiliate can't just decide not to air one of the network shows for a baseball game.

"Robin. I cant believe Cleveland bumped us. I was huge in Cleveland. That's the only reason the rating were below 7 million for the first time ever."

Not true. Affiliates can and do pass on network shows if for some reason they have an issue such as the local community. Deep South stations may not air a show they think may be objectionable like The Howard Stern Show on CBS....remember that successful endeavor 10-12 years ago?? Stern shaved some woman's bush and several CBS stations quickly dropped the show.

    Toronto Star - Oct 21, 1998

A Birmingham, Ala., TV station has dropped Howard Stern's show after an episode Saturday night in which he shaved a woman's ... "I saw the show and thought it was abhorrent," said Eric Land, general manager for WIAT, a CBS affiliate.

Sure they can. It went on for years in a ton of markets and not just for baseball. The fact that pro sports rarely get run on local stations anymore is what makes it rare now.

Third place? The Tigers are in first. Great game tonight. Scherzer kicked Cleveland's ass.
