Just saw the show up in the Catskills...in an outdoor pop-up tent with less than a hundred other dusty upstate New Yorkers. We were in the area and said why not, but the "resort" he was playing was still about an hour away since it was a one lane road into town. Show was great...not as strong as "A Long Story Short", but he does an amazing job of capturing the essence of that crusty old document and making it very present. This was the last stop before the taping of the show and he must have did this gig as a favor for someone because it was pretty low rent...looked like a high school production. Hung around the bar afterwards and we noticed him taking a picture with the local cops...there were only about 8 people in there and he must have noticed us looking because he walked right over to us. We told him we were from Philly and he was cool as shit. Talked for about 10 minutes, his aunt took a picture for us, etc. Very cool night all around...just seemed like a legitametly grateful guy.
