35 bowl games  (and can't see one that i'd really look forward to other than bcs games)

Think of how amazing it'd be if they all got together and spent the next month playing single elimination playoff games at these otherwise meaningless 'other bowl' sites leading up to a final four.

My alma mater is in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, do they really expect us to leave San Diego, four days before Christmas, to go to fucking Boise, Idaho.

I see some cool games. UGA vs. Nebraska, SC vs. WI. . . .

Will be fun to see the excuses coming from the Big 10 as to why SC kicked the dogshit out of WI.

yea we FINALLY get that next year (and I think the buzz is that this will be the beginning to what may expand into more playoff games in subsequent years). I know what they'll be doing and i'll be all abuzz

btw for sec fans they announced a co-branded network along with espn which will air a minimum 3 games a week and have it's own 'college gameday'.

Besides the BCS bowls, the only other ones that look interesting to me are South Carolina-Wisconsin and Missouri/Okla State. Combined wins by my schools (Illinois/Cal) would not be enough to be bowl-eligible

I know it's a strain on the players, but give them all a new car or a small taste of the $$$ to compensate them.
