I'm in a full yr elective right now of a class that is not in my field of study. There is a course I would like to take in my field of study at the same time.
To withdraw from this course at this point would result in a W (withdraw) on my transcript, though I received an A in the first semester.
Do you think it is a big deal to get a W?

Not a big deal to get a W. Happens all the time.

They used to have WF (Withdrawl Failing) vs. WP (Withdrawl Passing). Having a WF looked bad. But you young faggits just have W, and that's ok.

A Withdraw doesn't mean shit. Any potential employer does not see your college transcript.

Nah, only if they're surrounded by Cs, Ds and Fs.

too late for an "I"? also, if you have a story, an explanation, nobody cares about the "W" or "I"

Sometimes people have "personal issues". You can always use that as an excuse and you don't have to explain anything.

    what is "I"?

the problem is it's a full year course that is half over

I only took it cause it was an easy elective (as evidenced by my A)
