Great Appearance in the show by Col!! I may be in the dark about this, but can anyone tell me why Colin & others like Florentine no longer appear on Wiggy's show

They're usually promoting something....There's no value in going on Wiggy's show anymore

He is definitely a "thinking mans comic". Colin is alot like Dennis Miller except Colin is actually funny.

Honestly, I think the reason Colin and other comedians choose O&A over the Stern show, is simply the vibe. You can hang out and break balls on O&A. On Stern, if you're a guest, he wants to give you a more traditional interview, like he's he's suddenly Tom Snyder or something. And he often interrupts the guest's train of thought, by interjecting yet another inane question. This can make a comedian extremely frustrated.

Howard no longer allows comedians to just hang and shoot the shit.

Last time he did that was the classic bit where Artie and Gilbert were going out of control cracking each other up and Robin was getting incredibly frustrated.

Since then Gary announced on the wus that "the show has evolved and is no longer centered around comedy, plus with Gilbert sitting in for the news the studio just became too crowded and Robin could barely get line out"

Yes...but as the poster above you mentioned it is "no longer centered around comedy." If that is true at least they admit that you shouldn't go looking to that show for any laughs.

Asked Colin this in Montreal. He said its true he isn`t on the HSS much anymore. I asked if he thought it was because he was on O and A allot, he said that is a realistic possiblity
