For those with Comcast? Is the service really that bad, as in customer service? Do you really need to call them a lot, does their shit break all the time/go out...?
Found this while googling how to lower my FIOS bill. (Comcast's handbook for talking customers out of dropping their service)
I used to have Comcast and yes the customer service was that bad. I would take the day off for my scheduled appointment and they wouldn't show, yet claim they came to my place and no one was home. This happened repeatedly. Finally, after I got yet another appointment, I called the supervisor every half hour to make sure the technician was still coming. In one of those half hour windows, the supervisor informs me that the technician had been to my place and I didn't answer. I demanded he send the technician back. He couldn't do that because it would mess up the technician's schedule for the rest of the day. He wanted to reschedule for the following week. I got angry and they eventually sent someone out. I hated having Comcast.
