    Sorry this is lame but........

I have been home with that nasty virus and using my ipad in bed. Now here is the problem, it was draining quickly and the problem seems to be with our wifi connection. The same thing is happening with my phone as I have had it on wifi too.

Anyway, I went to settings and noticed that it is connected to wifi but every few seconds it seems to disconnect and reconnect and I think this is draining the batteries.

    Why is this happening????

    :D
Pull the power plug on the device in your home that supplies you with the wifi connection. Sometimes it can be your cable modem, sometimes it is the box that a cable modem is connected in line with.

I'm a dum dum......You are talking about the "modem" not the router. I wonder if our modem is on the fritz, it is not cable it is supplied by our telephone company that our internet is with.

When my cable modem was on the fritz.....the phone tech guy told me to turn it off, and pull the battery inside of it out.....then put it back and turn the thing on again.

It reset itself just fine. :coffee:
