Over 84 MILLION people are not working. That's about of 1/3 of working age Americans.

if he(and congress) spend money to create jobs, then people cry about the spending.
they cried he won't cut anything, but then when something is finally cut they cry of that.
yall starting to remind me of the fools who hated bush

Reggie plz... lets not go the IF route...

bottom line he knew these cuts were coming and still gave out bonuses ..

that's like running up your credit cards up when you know for a fact you won't have the cash to pay the bill at the end of the month

    so please

don't fucking embarrass yourself with IF bullshit

right, but thats separate from my point.
i feel his 'no jobs created' complaint is disingenuous.

It's funny how we elect people that have done nothing in their lives but run for office... And then wonder why things don't work.

A bigger issue is that we have these career politicians who only care about getting reelected and spend a ton of their time on selling people out though fundraisers.

There should be term limits. They should be limited to two terms as a Congressman and one term as a Senator.

As a former Hill staffer, I have no problem with this. The Members might be dicks, but most of the staff are extremely hard working and get paid peanuts. Though I only support the bonuses if they go to the right people (the people in their mid-late 20s and early 30s who desperately need the money).

i kinda wish they would take more time off from work. they cause more problems when they come into the office. they came to work in 2006 and decided that the USPS had to pre-fund their pension program 75 years in advance and now the USPS is broke.

rand paul actually returned money to the federal gov't (about $500,000) claiming it was wasteful and unnecessary to run his office.

i think what we have in america is a new aristocracy and they are elected officials(whether in the local or federal gov't). it's almost impossible to get them out of office and their perks are absolutely obscene.....but worst of all (unlike the private sector), we pay them....and we pay for their staffs and relatives who are very often either on the payroll or through connections have high-salary patronage jobs.

i don't think we're complaining about "the cuts" because they're not really cuts. we're just cutting the percentage of the increases by (i think 3%) which is nothing. i have no problem with across the board cuts but what barack is doing is cutting certain programs that directly impact the public rather than cutting nonsensical pork. why did the TSA grant itself 50 million for new uniforms(they made sure it happened a day before the cuts take effect).

we could trim so much more...the sequester is the best thing tha's happened in years....unfortunately, it isn't enough. we're in alot of trouble, the debt and profligate spending isn't sustainable . hopefully, i will be gone by the time the house of cards collapses.

Maybe if more people over 65 would retire it would make way for those at the bottom?

    oh i agree.
write a bill that cuts all the pork and make the guy veto it if he doesnt like it.
the problem is, all that pork was added to bills by congress, i dont feel they actually want it cut.
even the real fiscal conservatives dont want to take the blame and get voted out because they cut a large voting blocks goodies.
    we're screwed.

as for term limits, its worth a try. but again, congress will never vote for a bill that puts them out of office.
and it wouldnt be good for the country to lose great guys like rand paul and bernie sanders.
maybe we should blame ourselfs if we keep re-electing fools

So the job growth and explosive economy of the 90s isn't something Clinton gets credit for (instead, attributing credit to the Republican-led Congress) but the joblessness of our current economy is Obama's, right?

    Got it. :uscratch:

Isnt almost 20% of the congress jews? That explains the bonuses
Tribe loves to give tribe bonuses. The Goyish can go out and work some more. (on jobs that does not exist, thanks to high taxes).

    My solution:
Kill all EhEhEh. Take their money and pay of the debt. Lower taxes 20%+. Ship Africans/Mexicans back home. Give bonus to each aryan couple that have babies.

I'd give him credit for not opening up federal lands for fracking. I haven't heard a good word about fracking.

You didn't really expect our overlords to live with the consequences of their actions, did you?

That's for us, the little people, to do.
