epic. pure 100% epic. in my top 3 for sure.
I finally got to see Transformers: Dark of the Moon this weekend
God you suck.
that is a bizarre movie. i liked it.
^^^^ lol wtf
I believe there is life out there somewhere. When you take the sheer size of the universe and the huge number of stars/planets out there we can't be alone. Quantum entanglement makes me wonder though if wormhole travel will be possible someday.
I had coffee but it smelled like coffee. bummer
I'm going to have to watch that again. it's based on a true story about a signal they found on one of the SETI dishes here in Nor Cal. They were never able to pick it up again and to this day they're still searching for it. I was just reading recently that SETI just got funding from the Federal Gov, after being shut down for a while for lack of funds, because supposedly the feds want to use those dishes to "track space junk".. good thing that they're operational again, bad thing the feds are involved because we know how they like to cover up extraterrestrial shit
I liked Contact. The premise is a lot more realistic than so many "alien" movies, and the visuals are stunning, especially on the big screen. And I found it exhilarating once stuff starts happening...
I didn't know about that signal. SETI fascinates me but even if we get a signal chances are it'll be thousands or millions of light years old and that place may not even exist anymore. I drive myself crazy sometimes trying to comprehend everything that's out there and put some kind of real value to it all. Once people hear numbers above one million everything just becomes "big" but if you really try to grasp the number of objects out there it's mind numbing.
I like Yoda
Quantum entanglement only makes a copy. Will you volunteer to have yourself disintegrated before you know if a successful copy has been made and your soul properly transferred? Or as Hadden might say. "Why build one when you can build two for twice the price?"
i'm with Mr. Garrison on this one
watched the whole damn movie to see some aliens and in the end it was just her damn father
You like taco bell.
