    The sheriffs I grew up with were such nice guys. I can't believe how off the rails it's all gone.

    So pot is illegal because law makers claim it's harmful to users.

    So, to stop adult users from "harming" themselves, cops lock them in chains and molest and humiliate them? Then make them spend money on lawyers and fines?

    O...K....

    That's like sticking somebody with a hot branding iron because they got a tattoo that you don't like.

    No kidding man. What the hell has happened? Most of the cops I know are good people. Why wouldn't any normal cop ask himself if this behavior is appropriate? These two assholes should be locked up for rape.

    Can you tell them to arrest you and that you want to call a lawyer? That you will comply with all other directives but do not consent to a search?

    I have no idea and would also like some guidance as a woman that drives alone a lot for work

    I wish we new the answer as to why we have these thug criminals with badges. Not one judge or anyone else has explained this to us.

    Hey, on the bright side, drugs are off the streets, the people arrested learned their lesson and we're all a little bit safer now.

    Right?

    It's kind of amazing what we, as a society, have grown to accept just because we're used to it. If those women were arrested and then fingered against their will once they were in a cell, this wouldn't even be a story.

    The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

    Unless, of course, a cop thinks you may have smoked weed.

    Or are planning to travel by air....
