We're all Palestinians in the eyes of the cops. Very disturbing.

Why waste taxpayers' money. Just send them to the local zookeepers to consult how to contain, unstable, untrustworthy animals. :dontknow:

The left-leaning media continues to traffic in false moral equivalence between terrorists and those in Israel defending themselves from terrorism. The headline of the Associated Press article “ No end in sight to violence between Palestinians, Israel” (Saturday Dispatch) makes it seem as though the fault is on both sides.

Over the past couple of months, 19 Israeli civilians and soldiers, including 18-year-old American Ezra Schwartz, have been stabbed or intentionally rammed with automobiles by Palestinian terrorists. These people were victims who did absolutely nothing to provoke or deserve their unfortunate fate.

This was not a clash between two equal parties. The implication from this headline however, is that there is moral equivalence to the violence. It highlighted the violence rather than the terrorist attack itself.

It left out that the Palestinian men who were shot were terrorists. Poor headlining, either purposeful or not, is a serious problem in the age of social media. Millenials frequently only read snippets of information or only focus their attention on a brief title before moving on to the next story.

The body of an article has become far less important than the headline, even though that should not be the case. Misleading headlining is therefore biased reporting. Headlines such as the ones mentioned above prevent readers from knowing the full story of the events that transpired and leave them with a view about Israel that is one-sided and inaccurate.

Look Who’s Behind The Current Palestinian Terror War Against Israel
    http://www.westernjournalism.com/look-whos-behind-the-current-palestinian-terror-war-against-israel/

While the current Palestinian terror war against Israel continues unabated – with an average of two to three knife, shooting or vehicular attacks per day – more details about who’s behind the new “intifada” emerge.

Jerusalem Center For Public Affairs analyst Jonathan D. Halevi revealed this week that despite the Palestinian attempts to portray the terror war as a popular, spontaneous struggle by lone wolves it has become clear that Hamas and the PA leadership in Ramallah support and direct the terror war.
Halevy says that the “green light for violent agitation and terror attacks” was given by the Palestinian leadership, and the message has been “translated into actions by field operatives of the Palestinian organizations or by Palestinian residents.”

He also came to the conclusion that the PA and Hamas supply social and financial support to terrorists who got arrested after carrying out attacks against Israelis. The support includes monthly stipends for the arrested terrorist and his or her family.

HaLevy writes that the current terror war has clear goals:

The Palestinian Authority, led by Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen), wants to use it as a tool to achieve its political objectives, which include compelling Israel to withdraw from Judea, Samaria, and East Jerusalem under international pressure.”
He cites Abbas Zaki, a member of the Fatah Central Committee who took part in the General Arab Conference to Support the Intifada that was held in Beirut on November 20, 2015.

Zaki told the conference that “the Palestinian revolution will only end with the collapse of the (Zionist) entity.”

Hamas boss Mousa Abu Marzook also took part in the conference in Lebanon. During his speech, he emphasized that Palestinian unity is a key factor in achieving success in what Hamas calls the Jerusalem (Al-Quds) Intifada. He said the ‘intifada’ was a “very effective instrument for achieving political objectives.”

The Hamas leader pointed out that the ‘First Intifada’ that started in December 1987 led indirectly to the Oslo accords and the establishment of the Palestinian Authority.

The Second Intifada that was started by Yasser Arafat in September 2000 led indirectly to Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza, Marzook asserted. That terror war also led to the construction of the security fence that “despite its drawbacks, symbolizes the end of the Zionist endeavor,” Marzook claimed.

He then said that the goals of the current terror war (Al-Quds Intifada) are: forcing an Israeli withdrawal from Judea, Samaria, and securing “the freedom of all the Palestinian security prisoners, and lifting the blockade of Gaza.” The effectiveness of this Intifada depends on the Palestinian organizations who participate in it and the continuation and expansion of the terror activities, Marzook told the conference.

Halevy writes that “the closing declaration of the Conference to Support the ‘intifada,’ in which senior representatives of Fatah, which Abbas heads, took part, dubbed the current ‘intifada’ the “Liberation intifada” and said it aimed to get Israel to withdraw from Judea and Samaria and dismantle the settlements.”

“The participants stated that the ‘intifada’ seeks to make it less costly for the IDF to withdraw from Jerusalem and the territories than to keep fighting both the intifada itself and international opinion. They said the Palestinians were already benefiting from the tension between Israel and the United States and Europe, which weakens Israel, the shift of public opinion against Israeli policy, and the strengthening of identification with the Palestinian people.

The committee’s resolutions depict Israel as an enemy against which all-out war must be waged until its complete destruction,” Halevy concludes.

Other evidence that this ‘intifada’ too is fueled and supported by the Palestinian leadership and by PA-controlled Palestinian media was delivered by Palestinian Media Watch. The watchdog organization published new video clips with broadcasts by PA-controlled Palestinian media in Hebron that encouraged murder on Jews and a renewal of the suicide bombings that rocked Israel before and during the Second Intifada.

Songs that were broadcasted by Palestinian radio stations in Hebron contained texts like

Blow up the executor’s (Israel’s) innards / Bring back the period of Martyrdom-seeking (i.e., suicide bombing) / Rise and strap yourself with bombs.

Another song encouraged Palestinian Arabs to carry out shooting attacks and to kidnap IDF soldiers.

Load your machine gun and advance, son of proud Jerusalem

Gird yourself with flames and capture the soldiers

Load your machine gun and advance, son of proud Jerusalem

Gird yourself with flames and capture the soldiers

Open fire, have no mercy, shoot the Zionists!

Advance with your men, O keffiyeh-masked one!

Israel decided last month to crack down on inciting Palestinian media, and the IDF has already shut down three Palestinian radio stations in Hebron since the beginning of November. Most terrorists who carried out attacks against Israeli citizens and soldiers came from the Hebron area.

The Palestinian terror war continued also today. On Thursday morning, an Arab terrorist opened fire on an IDF checkpoint near the Jerusalem neighborhood of Pisqat Ze’ev. An Israeli citizen and an IDF soldier were wounded in the attack while the terrorist was killed.

Yesterday two stabbing attacks were recorded in Samaria and Judea (West Bank) one of the attacks took place on Tzomet HaGush the main junction in Gush Etzion on Highway 60 that connects Jerusalem to Hebron.

The junction has been the scene of countless stabbings and other terrorist attacks over the last year, that have cost the lives of several Israeli citizens.
