Since I hate Comcast, I use AT&T for my ISP. It's less than 50 bucks a month, and I get Internet speed at about 40 gbps. Not too bad, more than adequate for gaming and streaming video.

I have a digital antenna for my local networks, I get about 20 channels over the air. The channel lineup includes ABC, Fox, NBC, MeTV, Antenna TV, a local movie channel, and a few others. It's a nice lineup, especially since I pay nothing for them and they're all in HD.

I have Sling TV for my live Cable broadcasts. It's about 20 bucks a month, and includes AMC, TNT, Cartoon, CNN, Fox On Demand, El Rey, and a bunch of others. It watch it through my Roku and Xbox One.

I also have Netflix and Hulu. The combined services are about 20 bucks a month.

I also have Pluto TV. If you don't know what this service is, I would suggest checking it out. It's 100% free. I'm watching the second "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" movie on it as I write this. It also has an "MST 3K" channel that's pretty awesome.

My whole setup is less than 90 bucks a month, including the internet. Much cheaper than Comcast, and I get just about everything I want.

Anyone else a cord cutter? What is your setup and how much do you pay?

I live in the country. It would have cost me 10 grand to run the cable to my house. I have DirecTV and satellite internet. I'll have to check out what you got.

I have an RCA outdoor antenna stashed in my attic. I get about 25-30 channels of free live hdtv. 50 Mbps fiber optic broadband for $50/month, Apple TV with Netflix, HBO and showtime. So I spend about $33 a month on tv channels, and I barely watch those.

the only thing I watch is sports so the ESPN/Fox/NBCSports channels are a must for me. my wife is a Game of Thrones junkie so HBO is a must for her. cant figure out how to scratch both of those itches without a cable box

It's the sports fans who they have by their balls. I dropped cable and found some other ways to watch the NHL and a few news channels and use a vpn for torrents. I do really miss my dvr but I've cut my comcast bill by $100/month.

The sports thing is hard. I used to just have basic cable (7$ a month) and find a live stream when a game I want wasn't on it

I'm a slave to the DVR, besides sports, there is nothing I watch live. I watch most shows the same night they are on but on a 20 minute delay start time so I can fast forward commercials.i love being able to watch tv when I'm ready to. Remember back in the day when "cable TV" actually was sold to the public as commercial free television??
During the football season I would be like a heroin addict looking for their next hit without cable,it would drive me nuts not to have NFL network, Redzone, and ESPN.

Great Thread-I'm looking into this and started by eliminating one of my tvs from the Verizon fios. It saves me 12.99/mo and only use it for Netflix. I'm looking into adding the over the air antenna to get some channels.

Once the NFL offers their games on a streaming service it is all over for Comcast. MLB/NHL/NBA will soon follow. If Major League Soccer was smart, they would offer their games on Netflix/Hulu/Apple TV for free. People streaming would watch, get interested and would definitely grow the fan base.

the problem with streaming AT&T and Comcast is the data cap they are going to start enforcing unless you buy their basic cable package (which I do because my wife wants it and the dvr).

I stream like a motherscratcher btw. Have Netflix/Amazon Prime, a roku box with over 75 channels and some less than specious sources.

I know comcast owns fucking EVERYTHING, but I feel like they are going the way of Kodak/blockbuster if they don't adapt with the times
