Makes nice shit. Nice PC cases, too. Next PC will be 100% Corsair.

What does @DrivenByDemons say about this?

A critique of this brand would be more useful

I have a feeling all PC cases are thin now compared to an old acer aspire case

Corsair does make good PC cases. Check out logicalincrements.com for lists of various suggested PC builds for many budget levels.

Doesn't matter to me unless I'm moving my case around from location to location a lot. It's just a chassis to attach parts to. I don't mind a pos case anymore.

It's a noise thing for me. Seems like everything is thin metal bullshit now. They have noise reducing cases but they look annoying

A decent case is worth the money. Looks better, more functional, etc. Ample airflow and space for whatever you want to plug in there. I have a ask-me-if-I-give-a-fuck case with a couple large LED fans which looks like ass and another nicer PC case which looks really sophisticated. That one's out where people can see it. My bedroom has the ugly hardware.

The h80i water cooler sucks balls. Or more specifically the software that they package with it- it's buggy crap that doesnt work.

The h80 is better because it has no software; it has a knob that you turn to throttle the fans instead. The knob is on the cooling block. Inside the case. :grr:

Their SSD drives leave a lot to be desired.

I'm partial to Gigabyte myself recently. Great motherboards.

I build with passive GPUs (if I even bother, not a gamer and the Intel integrated solutions work great), always use ninja CPU heatpipe coolers and only use 1 120mm fan udervolted if I feel the PS fan is whimpy. Runs warm but not hot and is basically silent.

Just read an article by a guy who gave up on water cooling. I never really overclocked though but I'll probably go for a good video card this time. Waiting to see if the AMD 12nm CPU's are good, and DDR4 is the new standard so will wait for a good DDR4 motherboard. Also read the GDDR5 standard for cards might be done too so it could be a year+ until it happens. Saw where you can do liquid cooling on the chipset/ VRM, might try that. Would be nice to play games on ultra settings.
