    I've never had a costco membership but it seems weird that they were married to Amex for this long... Amex went to the masses with that blue card in the early '00s and abandoned that "privilege" to owe them debt a long time ago... I thought.

    I guess to me it's just strange that Costco got as huge as they are now with previously limited payment options.

    I think they're just around based on image now, you can get better "rewards" using a visa or MasterCard now
