I can't think of any show (TV included) that died a slower death. PI Nate got me thinking about this.

    Slowest
    Death

I bet you imagined a big blow out party for their last show, filled with guests and stuff. On top of his game, as relevant as ever. The Howard Stern Show does not end on a bang, but a whimper.

Yes, I honestly thought that would happen. Instead they give a bunch of shit to Bobo while nobody listens.

We still got a couple of years to go. Anything might happen. I'm staying positive.

I know you're right. How sirius can still support and broadcast stern is beyond me. You'd think his BS would force him into early retirement from his contract. Sirius is a dumb company, NOBODY LISTENED BEFORE HIS NEW CONTRACT!!!

Amen. The show ended with Archie going home after the wife's funeral. Touching and sincere. I don't think the stern show will end like that. There's no end to Howard cashing in on his irrelevancy.

I discovered All in the Family about twelve years ago (Im in my mid 30's). The first four or five season are sharper than 99% of everything on tv now. Ive tried to watch Archie Bunker's Place a few times now (if only as a completist), and I havent made it through a full episode yet. Prolly the closest thing I can describe to being a fan of THHS.

I've only seen a few random episodes of All in the Family. The followup show was bad I hear. AITF looking back was a good, honest show that represented the times.
