Crock pot corned beef...

    just one question, the recipe I used calls for only 1 beer and no water.. but not everything is fully submerged.. should I add more beer until at least the veggies are submerged or it should be fine as is?

    The lid creates moist heat by trapping steam. It doesn't have to be totally submerged. Plus the brisket will release some juices too.

    i made 2 giant pots.. 1 follows the directions, the other i added some of my own spices... will see which one turns out better

    it doesn't need to be fully submerged to cook. and like cp says, the meat will release plenty of juices. you should be pleasantly surprised in a few hours. :cheer:

    I made it before and t was delicious but it was a long tiem ago.. and by the time it finished cooking my friend and i were drunk
