Crude is down to nearly $48 per barrel for WTI. The lowest it got recently was ~$43 in February.

I remember paying $1.80 per gallon locally in February, and today it's $2.57 per gallon. Diesel fuel, which costs more to refine and is subject to higher taxes, is selling for $2.51 per gallon locally.

In just a week or so, we could see oil drop to $40 flat per gallon (according to the pundits).

Why am my gas so damn high?

Is a fucking scam. Boat loads are just sitting in the SF bay, not offloading until the price rises. They are trying to stall the supply.

Just be glad you don't live in southern CA, we are at about $4.20/gallon thanks to a combination of massive taxes and refinery rape.

I'm going to steal a tanker and drive to LA, Mad Max style.

I will check for sand inside BEFORE leaving, unlike that dummy Mel Gibson.

I'm in the bizz......And the sheets I've been getting for the last two weeks have been dropping.....Depending where in the country you live....Freight rates ie. How far they have to truck it in and if you have a "Only Game in Town" Situation, Will have a direct effect on price.....And, They are not going to drop the price on the stock that was bought at a higher price that is still unsold.......

Summer Blends are for real......And higher because of the higher refining to get the sulphur out......Summer blends are phased out starting September.....Punch a tree hugger in the face for this bullshit

Why's it OK to have sulphur in it in the winter and not summer?

But they'll certainly raise the price on the stock that was bought for a lower price.

Seriously. There's no fucking way anyone can justify away the price swings vs demand / supply / refinery uptimes, etc...

If a Saudi shiek dies while you're sleeping, the price of gas will be 15c higher before you get to work the next day.

It's going to be amazing when we finally crack the renewable code and get to stop buying oil.
